HMD Global, the powerhouse brand behind Nokia smartphones, has launched its first smartphone with repairability at its heart, and for every device sold in April, HMD Global is willing to donate AUD 20 to Clean Up Australia, helping to protect the environment by too.

Dubbed the Nokia G22, the new device takes the longevity of Nokia phones to the next level, and thanks to its partially repairable design, the Nokia G22 can last even longer by replacing the display, charging port or battery – even after the phone's warranty has expired.

In partnership and collaboration with iFixit, Nokia G22 can be repaired with step-by-step repair guides and affordable replacement parts from AUD 32.99 (GBP 17, EUR 20, USD 22 and INR 1824).

Brenden Folitarik, Country Manager for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands at HMD Global, said: “We're delighted to support Clean Up Australia, who do incredibly important work to protect our natural environment and share our vision of creating a better future that doesn't end up in the ground. We know that Australians are looking for ways to live more sustainably and that they value devices that can last longer. With the new Nokia G22, we are proud to offer longevity and performance without compromising on price or quality.”

The Nokia G22 is available in Lagoon Blue or Meteor Gray colors and is available for AUD 349 (GBP 186, EUR 215, USD 235 and INR 19292) on the Nokia/HMD global website and all leading retailers and e-tailers.
