The Nokia XR21 was unveiled on Wednesday. The phone has been awaited in the market for the past few weeks and there have been many leaks and rumors hinting at the features and specifications of the device. Nokia claims that this new smartphone is one of the toughest physically. It comes with an IP69K rating, making it extremely dust and water resistant. The smartphone is available for purchase in select regions and the company is expected to gradually roll it out in other markets as well.

Offered in midnight black and pine green, the Nokia XR21 is also available in a single 6GB + 128GB storage variant. Introduced as the successor to the Nokia XR20, the new dual-SIM smartphone features a 6.49-inch full HD+ IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The Nokia XR21 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G SoC with Adreno 619L GPU and LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.1 built-in storage. It runs Android 12.

The Nokia XR21's dual rear camera setup includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide lens. A 16-megapixel front-facing camera is located in the center-aligned punch hole at the top of the display, which can be used for selfies and video calls. Powered by a 4,800mAh battery and supporting 33W wired fast charging, the Nokia XR21 features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 3.5mm audio jack. The 231 gram phone measures 168.0 x 78.58 x 10.45 millimeters.
