W ith the official images shared by the German technology portal Winfuture, you could already see the new Nokia device leaked on Wednesday, which in principle will be the Nokia XR21 5G smartphone, and now you can see the smaller specifications of the device that HMD wants to present in the United States in the near future.

The Nokia XR21 5G, which is the Nokia Sentry, is the new rugged phone from Nokia Mobile. The published photos show only one phone, which is a mix of the Nokia XR20 and the Nokia X30 5G. Nokia Mobile is upgrading the processor to the Snapdragon 695 5G, which is also used in the Nokia X30 5G and is significantly better than the SD 480 seen in the XR20. The phone also comes with 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, it comes with a new 6.49-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels and a maximum refresh rate of 120 hertz. The display is protected by a fairly robust Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, the same as the XR20. The selfie camera is expanded with a 16 MP sensor and f/2.45 aperture. The Nokia "Sentry 5G" first appeared on HMD Global's roadmap in the fall of 2022, which at the time was probably accidentally seen in a presentation posted on YouTube by a manufacturer. It also included some initial hardware details, although the spec sheet is still not quite complete.

Nokia Mobile has not improved on the USB Type-C port, which is only compatible with USB 2.0, and the BT standard is the same (Bluetooth 5.1), but there is still support for NFC and WiFi 6.
