Nokia G60 5G is now available for purchase in Kenya

A fter a few months, Kenyan smartphone buyers are facing yet another smartphone option, and as 5G sites keep popping up everywhere, there's one more 5G phone to consider: the Nokia G60 5G device, announced today by HMD Global at in the country.

HMD Global, the company that owns the Nokia brand, has announced that it will also launch the previously announced Nokia G60 5G smartphone in Kenya for only KES 49,000 (GBP 299, EUR 340, USD 370 and INR 30434). while supplies last, which device is available in Black and Ice colors at a total price of KES 53000 (GBP 323, EUR 367, USD 400 and INR 32918).

The Nokia G60 was officially released on September 1, 2022, with a display size of 6.58 inches, IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, which provides a resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The internal storage is 64GB and 128GB which supports 4GB and 6GB of RAM.

The performance is ensured by the Qualcomm SM6375 Snapdragon 695 5G octa-core processor, while the GPU is Adreno 619. The smartphone is equipped with a triple camera on the back consisting of 50 MP (wide) + 5 MP (ultra-wide) + 2 MP. (depth) and also an 8 MP (wide) camera on the front.

The Nokia G60 is powered by a non-removable Li-Po 4500mAh battery + 20W fast charging + USB Power Delivery 3.0. Sensors include side fingerprint, accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity and compass.

The device is available in pure black and ice gray. It includes features like A-GPS, GALILEO, BDS, FM radio, Bluetooth 5.1 and Type-C 2.0, USB On-The-Go and runs on Android 12 operating system. The device is made with a glass front panel (Gorilla Glass 5), a plastic frame and a plastic back panel, while supporting splash resistance.
