N okia C22 is a smartphone that was announced on February 25, 2023. The device is a budget smartphone with 4G connectivity and features that make it suitable for everyday use. The Nokia C22 is a lightweight smartphone that weighs 190g and is made with a plastic back, plastic frame and glass front. The phone has a splash and dust resistant design which is an added advantage for this phone.

The Nokia C22 comes with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The pixel density of the phone is ~270 PPI, which is a little lower, but it can be adequate for its price. However, the display has a scratch-resistant glass protection that prevents minor scratches and cracks.

The Nokia C22 runs Android 13 (Go Edition) and is powered by the Unisoc SC9863A chipset. The chipset was made using a 28nm process. The phone comes with either 2GB or 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a dedicated microSDXC card slot. The phone uses eMMC 5.1 technology for storage.

There is a dual camera setup on the back with a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP macro lens. The primary camera has autofocus and LED flash, and the macro lens is suitable for close-up shots. The camera also has HDR and can record 1080p videos at 30fps. The front camera is an 8 MP sensor capable of recording videos in 1080p resolution.

Nokia C22 supports 4G LTE connectivity and has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.2, A2DP, GPS and FM radio. The phone uses a USB Type-C 2.0 port for charging and data transfer. The phone lacks an NFC connection, which is a disadvantage for mobile payment users.

The smartphone has a 5000mAh battery which is non-removable and supports 10W wired charging. The battery capacity is impressive for a budget smartphone, providing enough power for a day or more. The C22 comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, accelerometer and proximity sensor.
