Indian Smartphone Market Share Shared in Q2 2025

The details regarding the Indian smartphone market share for Q2 2025 have been revealed and this time Chinese smartphone maker – Vivo has topped the list with a significant increase in its market share. Notably, it is the other way around for another Chinese smartphone brand.
According to the information shared, the Indian smartphone market has registered a 7% year-on-year growth in Q2 2025 compared to Q2 2024. Moreover, Vivo and OPPO are the two brands that have achieved the highest year-on-year growth rates – 31% and 24%.
Two of the other leading Chinese brands – Xiaomi and Realme – have reportedly faced a decline of 25% and 17% respectively in Q2 2025, while South Korean smartphone maker – Samsung – has performed relatively well with a 2% year-on-year growth. The combined annual growth of the other brands increased by 23% in Q2 2025 compared to Q2 2024.
Of the five brands mentioned, Vivo shipped the most smartphones in Q2 2025, accounting for 8.1 million units. The brand also achieved a 21% market share in Q2 2025. Vivo is followed by Samsung with 6.2 million shipments and a 16% market share.
OPPO and Xiaomi also shipped 5 million units each, contributing 13% to the total market share in Q2 2025. Adding that, 11 million smartphones were shipped by other smartphone brands together, accounting for 28% of the total market share. A total of 39 million smartphones were shipped in Q2 2025.
