The HMD Aura² has so far been launched in the Australian market, where it has a suggested retail price of AUD 169 (GBP 85, EUR 102, USD 106 and INR 9281) from March 13. Wider availability is not yet known.

The HMD Aura² features a 6.52-inch LCD display with a low resolution of 1280×576 pixels and a 60Hz refresh rate. Brightness reaches 460 nits.

Nokia has exited the Russian market due to the Russian embargo

The SoC 9863A, which provides basic performance and 4G support, is previously known from HMD Nokia and its own-brand phones, along with 4 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The operating system version is a slimmed-down Android 14 (Go edition).

The storage can be expanded up to 128 GB using a microSD memory card. On the back, the HMD Aura² has a 13 MP autofocus camera, while the front has a 5 MP fixed focus camera. The 5,000 mAh battery supports 10-watt charging. Other features of the HMD Aura² include a side-mounted fingerprint reader, FM radio, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n), Bluetooth 5.2, USB-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

As for the update promise, HMD says the Aura² will receive quarterly security updates for two years. The HMD Aura² measures 166.4 x 76.9 x 8.95 millimeters and weighs 185.4 grams. The phone is rated IP54 dust and splash resistant in Europe, and IP52 in the AMEA region for less durability.
