F rench data center operator Data 4 has acquired Nokia's site in Nozay (Essonne) to create a new campus of eight data centers there. The project represents an investment of around 1 billion euros by 2030.
Data 4 gives room for growth itself. The largest French data center operator, which has 220 employees worldwide, including 150 in France, announced on Wednesday, April 5, that it has acquired the Nokia site in Nozay, just a few kilometers from its current site in Marcoussis, Essonne, from Colony Capital in.
The financial terms of the transaction are not disclosed. On this new 22-hectare site, it plans to create a campus of eight data centers with a total floor area of 32,000 square meters and an installed electrical capacity of 120 MW. The project represents a total investment of around 1 billion euros by 2030.
