HMD has identified a critical issue with the Nokia 225 4G (2024) that requires an urgent software update, but the official statement does not specify who issued this faulty software update. Since we are talking about a Nokia phone, but HMD is already responsible for software updates, I believe this is a fault of HMD Global.
Please check if you have the latest software by navigating to "Menu > settings > system > online software update" in the menu of your Nokia 225 4G (2024). If you do not have the latest software version, you will see an "Update available" notification - press the "Select" button and follow the instructions to download and install the latest software.
