HMD and Xplora have already signed a cooperation agreement, and now the result of their joint work has become truly spectacular. A device called XploraOne has arrived, which cannot be called a full-fledged smartphone, but rather a hybrid based on the HMD Touch.
In October, HMD announced its hybrid mobile phone called Touch. The company created it specifically for developing regions and launched it on the market at an incredibly low price. XploraOne will also be an extremely affordable device so that as many parents as possible can afford to buy one for their child. Balancing the line between push-button and classic mobile phones, XploraOne may primarily interest parents who previously bought smartwatches. It is very difficult to safely introduce young people to the world of gadgets, and this could be an ideal option in the process.

In addition to the limited functionality of the device, it will also feature a number of security tools.
The XploraOne has a front-facing camera, allowing for two-way video chats. Users can also take self-portraits. There is a camera on the back, along with an LED flash, which can also be used as a flashlight. The device has a button not only on the side, but also on the top. In addition to the USB-C connector, there is also a 3.5 mm jack socket in the device's pocket.
HMD started designing customized mobile phones for its partners last year, the most famous collaboration so far being the Barbie Phone, but the XploraOne is a more unique design.
