Worldink has won the Nokia GTFF Fix Network Customer Award 2022

W orldink won the Nokia GTFF (Get to faster) Fixed Network Customer Award 2022. The Finnish tech giant has awarded Worldink for bringing 'Home Connectivity Service Innovation' to Nepal. Find out more about the award and the words of the officials in this article.

Sary Annie, Nokia Network Infrastructure, FN CTO and Head of Solutions Support, Head of MCA, said: “Worldlink received an award in the Service Innovation In-Home Connectivity category for leading the way in introducing the Nokia Wireless Cloud Controller, which connects customers even adverse conditions such as mountains, ice and snow, rivers and wild animals.” Wordlink received this award for innovating its home connectivity service in the Nepalese internet market. The Finnish technology company awarded Worldlink at the Get To Faster (GTFF) 2022 event in Singapore. The event started on December 7 and will end on December 8, 2022.

Nokia and Worldink partner with the ISP using Nokia Beacon Mesh access points. Worldlink introduced its high-speed Photon packages and has since been increasing speed and service with Nokia Beacon Mesh. Beacon 1.1 uses Nokia's WiFi Mesh technology to overcome obstacles such as interior walls and provide a seamless and reliable internet connection. It helps provide better connectivity for all devices, improving the Wi-Fi experience at home.

Worldlink is the largest ISP in Nepal in terms of Nepali user base. This ISP has more than 7 million subscribers and the number of users is more than 30 million. In addition, the company did a commendable job in terms of availability. Its Internet is available in a total of 7 provinces and 74 districts. According to the Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA), Worldlink has a 35% market share in the landline internet market.
