A ccording to the latest news from Philadelphia mobile tech leaker Evan Blass, HMD wants to launch six devices in the coming weeks or months codenamed Pulse and Legend, which phones come in Plus and Pro versions. HMD Global has already announced its separation from Nokia and will soon launch its first smartphones.
The past few months have brought a lot of announcements, leaks, and speculations about the upcoming smartphones that HMD is currently working on. Some sources familiar with the matter point out that the upcoming smartphone will be launched in April, which is just a few months away. Just like the existing Nokia smartphones, these handsets will also come with budget-level specifications and features. A leak has already teased the design of this upcoming device and it looks a bit similar to what is available on some of the more expensive Nokia devices.
It is also clear from this leak that the Nokia branding has disappeared and will be replaced by the HMD branding, although these markings are not visible in the drawing shown. According to the leak, this upcoming device will have a dual rear camera which will be placed on the cutout on the left side of the back of the device. Due to its appearance, this device can be made of plastic, so it is considered a budget device. HMD Global aims to compete in the budget smartphone market with this new device. Some reports also point to other HMD Global-branded devices in the works, aside from this article. As for their specifications, nothing is available at the moment, but we can safely expect the basic specifications for these devices. When we say basic specifications, we mean that nothing should be overlooked in these devices. Their goal is to serve customers who are looking for an affordable, durable and easy-to-use device.
