The launch of the Trump Mobile phone, which bears the name of the President of the United States, did not take place as planned last year, and the phone is not expected to be available until mid-April 2026.
Now, new product images of the Trump Mobile T1 phone have appeared on the official website. The phone shown in them now matches the one seen in the hands of the Trump Mobile head in a remote interview with The Verge in February.
Originally, the Trump phone was shown in models that were compared to Apple's iPhones, for example, in terms of the camera area.
However, in the fall of 2025, when pre-orders began and the wait was "almost over", the T1 Phone appeared in images, which actually resembled the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. At the time, it was a clumsy photo editing. If you look closely at the image, you can also see the notch reserved for the Samsung S Pen stylus, and what's even more special, the Spigen logo, known for its protective covers, under the American flag on the bottom of the phone.
The Trump phone model, which has now been updated and is also visible in the new images, and which apparently will finally be realized, has an oval-shaped camera bump in the upper left corner of the back with a black background and a text message that says Trump Mobile. The back also shows an American flag, also with the inscription Trump Mobile. The color of the phone is of course gold.
According to the specifications originally announced on the pre-order page, the Trump T1 Phone would have had a 6.25-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a 50MP main camera and a 5,000 mAh battery with 20W fast charging.However, the technical specifications have also changed significantly along the way, and at the same time have become more accurate. Now, the phone is said to feature a 6.78-inch display that still has a 120Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7-series SoC, a 50MP main camera on the back, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 50MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, a 50MP front camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging. In addition to the phone, Trump Mobile is also selling phone subscriptions. With the promised Trump T1 phone not yet available, Trump Mobile is trying to sell used Apple and Samsung phones.
In February, Trump Mobile executives told The Verge that the phone’s launch was delayed because the company decided not to rush out “the first entry-level phone that we’ve introduced and launched quickly.” Executives also told The Verge that the phone will be manufactured in a so-called “favorable country,” with “final assembly” taking place in Florida. The gold Trump phone was originally promised to be manufactured in the United States, but that claim was quickly dropped after its unrealistic nature became apparent. The original country of manufacture announcement, the Made in the USA, quietly disappeared from Trump Mobile’s website last summer. However, the Trump T1 Phone is said to be “designed with American values,” and every device manufactured has “American hands behind it” — whatever that means.
