CES or the International Consumer Electronics Show is the premium event of the technology sector. It will take place between January 9 and 12, 2024 at the usual location, the Las Vegas Convention Center, where HMD Global, or HMD America, will now also be present. This year, the Finnish company that operates Nokia-branded devices rented a booth in Murano 3201A, which is the location of the meeting. Last year, HMD struck a similar deal and unveiled several US-based devices.

HMD Global is about to launch the new HMD Skyline smartphone, which has now been revealed with images and specifications on the retailer's website ac-systems.be. HMD Global has yet to confirm an exact launch date, but it looks like you won't have to wait long.
Based on the product images, HMD clearly took inspiration from Nokia's old Lumia phones for the new phone. The phone has a square but rounded design with an aluminum frame in the middle. The back surface is not aluminum, but glass or plastic. There are two color variants, black and pink.
On the back of the HMD Skyline is a box-shaped camera area with three cameras along with an LED flash. The front shows a flat display panel with narrow bezels and a hole for the front-facing camera. You can see the power and volume buttons on the right side and an extra button on the left side.
According to the list, the HMD Skyline 8 + 256 GB of memory will be sold, and a memory card of up to one terabyte will be supported. The cameras are said to be 108 megapixels, 13 megapixels and 50 megapixels on the back, so expect a main camera, a telephoto camera and an ultra-wide camera. There is a 50 MP selfie camera on the front.
According to a leak, the HMD Skyline will receive the Android 14 operating system. The display would have a size of 6.55 inches and a resolution of Full HD + (2400 x 1080). The size of the battery is 4600 mAh. The HMD Skyline also gets 5G support, Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity and NFC support. The ad doesn't really reveal any other information.
The phone is rumored to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, which is aimed at mid-range phones. This would be the first phone produced by HMD Global in many years with the Snapdragon 7 series SoC. The retailer's listing does not list price or availability.
