N okia Mobile announced in advance for the Nokia X30 5G model that this phone has been assigned to the Android Developer Preview program, with which Android 13 will also be available for the device later on.
It works closely with Google on the latest version of the Android OS, Android 13, and developers can test their apps on the X30 before the stable version is released. Participating in the developer program means that the phone will be the first to test the latest OS version and be the first to receive it.

According to the latest Geekbench listings of the Nokia X30, Android 13 has been tested on Nokia Mobile's latest mid-range device. The Nokia X30 was spotted in this test on November 5th and scored 657 points in the single-core test and 1920 points in the multi-core test, which is not much different from the Android 12 X30's results. The result means that the next OS version will not slow down the SD 695 5G processor. Of course, this does not mean that the version of Android 13 will be released without errors for these devices, especially after the problematic updates of the past weeks.
Following the Nokia X30 5G, the Nokia G60 5G, Nokia X20, Nokia XR20, Nokia X10 and Nokia G50 are also testing Android 13. The dates go back to the period before the release of the stable version of the X20, until the end of October for the G60 5G. The reliability of the Geekbench listings is questionable, but it could also indicate that Nokia Mobile is more actively testing the latest operating system versions of its models. We know from Android 12 release dates for some Nokia models that initial Geekbench results do not indicate that the update is coming soon.
