Sonatel launches 5G experiment with Nokia in Senegal

He indicated that his group is sharing new specific uses that Senegalese women and men will be able to use from 5G. “We will ensure that 5G is a key driver in the transformation of our society and economy, in key areas such as improving agriculture, improving public health, educating our children, entrepreneurship and employing young people in new skills. He stressed that the Sonatel Group is committed to building the future carrier of progress with all actors in the digital ecosystem. “5G, in addition to existing 4G networks, allows us to connect more people at the same time at unprecedented speeds while maintaining our ecological footprint by optimizing the energy resources our networks use. 5G will allow for the gradual development of future uses, ”says the Sonatel boss.
