Salam and Nokia are modernizing their digital infrastructure in Saudi Arabia

Nokia is upgrading Salam’s existing fiber access hubs at its headquarters in three cities across the UK with a tenfold increase in speed. Nokia's solution will modernize Salam's existing GPON networks into a future-proof, highly scalable solution using Nokia Quillion chipset-based line cards. The deal also includes fiber-optic modems for customers ’homes, in addition to Nokia’s Wi-Fi 6, 5G wireless access gateways offering Easy Mesh compatibility and eSIM capabilities, and Nokia’s FastMile Controller.
