N okia is developing a rugged notebook for business customers. At the same time as the Nokia Mission-Safe Phone 2, the mobile communications giant is also reportedly developing a rugged laptop. The Nokia Booklet X15 Enterprise is a particularly versatile one with a 1,000-nit bright touchscreen and a modular expansion slot.
After the first details about the Nokia Mission-Safe Phone 2 leaked on Monday, the very reliable X-Account @smashx_60 has now revealed the first image and many details about the Nokia Booklet X15 Enterprise. It seems to be a particularly rugged notebook for industrial customers, which makes do with a relatively small touchpad but has a large 15.6-inch touchscreen.
The display is based on an IPS panel with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. One of the standout features of the X15 notebook is its extremely high brightness of 1,000 nits, which ensures good readability even in daylight. When closed, the chassis is designed to withstand drops from up to 1.8 meters. The IP65 certification guarantees protection against rain, dust, and water splashes, while the MIL-STD-810H and -G certifications promise that the laptop will work in very hot and cold temperatures and withstand vibration.
The notebook is said to be based on the Intel Core Ultra 5 125H 2023 model, and combines the chip with 16 GB to 64 GB of RAM and a 512 GB to 2 TB SSD. The 5-megapixel webcam can also be used to log in to Windows using the infrared sensor using facial recognition. Modular response, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, 5G modem and Windows 11 Enterprise complete the laptop's features. Details on the Nokia Booklet X15 Enterprise's price and release date are not yet available.
