HMD Global, the maker of Nokia-branded smartphones, has just launched the affordable Nokia C31 in the Chinese market. The new device offers an LCD display, a UNISOC SC9863A1 processor, a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 5050 mAh battery. Let's take a look at the price, features and all the specifications of the Chinese version of the Nokia C31.

The Chinese version of the Nokia C31 is available in two memory configurations – 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 4GB RAM + 128GB storage. The base model will be priced at CNY 799 (GBP 99, EUR 114, USD 111 and INR 9151) and the higher variant will be available in China at CNY 869 (GBP 108, EUR 124, USD 120 and INR 9953). Sales of the two versions in China will start from October 15, i.e. from today. Interested buyers can choose the Nokia C31 in color options such as Advanced Grey, Nordic Blue and Mint Green.

The Nokia C31 phone has a 6.74-inch LCD display that supports a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. The notched design of the water drop can be seen on this screen. The device is powered by a Unisec SC9863A1 processor paired with a PowerVR GE8322 GPU. The Nokia C31 comes with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. However, the phone's storage can be expanded up to 512GB via a microSD card.

For photography, the vertically stacked triple camera setup on the top left corner of the back of the Nokia C31 includes a 13-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel depth and a 2-megapixel macro lens. For selfies and video calls, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera has been added to the front of the phone.

To save power, the Nokia C31 comes with a powerful 5,050 mAh battery that supports standard 10W charging and has its own “Power Saver” and “Super Power Saver” modes. When the battery is low, the phone can save power by adjusting visual display effects and limiting background applications, ensuring that the use of basic device functions is not affected.

Also, Nokia C31 supports 4G Dual SIM / Dual Standby, Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi 4. It includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a micro-USB interface. For security, this Nokia phone gets a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. It's rated IP52 for water and dust resistance, and the back panel features a 3D water wave design to prevent fingerprints.
