N okia is suing Oppo again for patent infringement, which leads the reader to the conclusion that the Chinese manufacturer would be better off if it entered into an agreement with Nokia, because according to recent reports, the Finnish company has filed another lawsuit in Australia, alleging that the Chinese manufacturer is abusing 4G and 5G mobile network technologies.

In July of this year, the Finnish company also won a lawsuit in Germany due to patent infringement. For this reason, the brands of the Chinese BBK Electronics group, Oppo and OnePlus, cannot sell the devices in the German market.

It seems that the Australian judiciary should make a similar decision and suspend the sale of Oppo and OnePlus products in the country. There is no information yet on when the outcome of the case will be made public.

Nokia is currently filing a series of lawsuits against Oppo in European and Asian countries. The move comes after an agreement between the two companies to use patents related to mobile network technologies expired in 2021. As stated, the decisions only affect sales of Oppo and OnePlus devices in certain regions. So far, the Realme and Vivo brands, which also belong to the BBK Electronics group, are still present in the markets where legal disputes occur.
