N okia has launched its dongle to make TVs smart and will compete with Amazon Fire TV Stick, Mi TV Stick and Google Chromecast.
The Streaming Stick 800 supports Full HD 1080p images, just like the Google device, but the product already has Android TV 11 installed instead of the latest version of the platform present at Google's rival, which still has more than 7,000 apps in the Play Store.

In its remote control, the device offers a backlight, which is not available in the main competitors. This will make it easier for users to navigate content at night or in dark environments.
In addition, the Streaming Stick 800 already has shortcuts to the most popular streaming apps, such as YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Disney+, as well as direct access to the Play Store and Google Assistant, and the volume of the TV can be controlled.
In terms of connectivity, it supports Bluetooth pairing for connecting with other mobile devices and dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz) for accessing online content. Movies and series can still be streamed directly from the mobile phone, just like on Chromecast.
Internally, it is equipped with an Amlogic S805X2 quad-core processor up to 1.2 GHz. It still has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage for apps and media.
The Nokia Streaming Stick 800 has been launched in the European market with an official price of around 59 Euros (GBP 51, USD 57 and INR 4791).
