Nokia XR20 has already received Google Android 12 certification

As early as November, you could already read that the Nokia XR20 smartphone was spotted on the Geébench site, which already shows Android 12 running. Unfortunately, the Android 12 update still hasn’t been released for Nokia XR20 phones regardless of what we thought would be available soon.

However, the release may happen soon because the Nokia XR20 has been certified by Google to update to Android 12. The certification means the update itself may be available soon, maybe even next week.

The Nokia XR20 display size is 6.67 inches with an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that provides a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. It is powered by the Qualcomm SM4350 Snapdragon 480 5G Octa-core processor while the GPU is the Adreno 619.

The device is packed with 6 GB RAM with 128 GB internal storage. The smartphone features a dual-camera: 48 MP (wide) + 13 MP (ultrawide) on the rear side and an 8 MP (wide) camera on the front.

Nokia XR20 is fueled with a removable Li-Po 4630 mAh battery + Fast charging 18W + Fast wireless charging 15W. The sensors include fingerprint (side-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and barometer. The device is available in Ultra Blue and Granite Gray. It includes features such as GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, Bluetooth 5.1, and USB Type-C 2.0, USB On-The-Go. The smartphone runs on the Android 11 operating system.
