The exterior of the brand new device boasts MIL-STD810H certification, which allows it to survive even 1.8-meter falls. The mobile is also protected against batteries, as it has received an IP68 rating and a display protected by Gorilla Glass Victus coating.

The Nokia XR20 has quite the right features, not to mention the rugged exterior. The display is a 6.67-inch IPS LCD panel that displays content in Full HD + resolution with up to 550 nits of brightness. The screen can also be operated with wet fingers and gloves.

Inside the smartphone, the Snapdragon 480 processor performs the calculations, which is completed by 6GB of RAM and a 5G modem. As for the storage capacity, there is only a 128 GB pack of the device, luckily the storage can be expanded at any time.

There are a total of two image capture units on the back of Nokia’s rugged smartphone, with the primary module a 48-megapixel design supported by a single 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle unit, while both sensors have their own LED flashes. The front panel camera, which is housed in a centered cutout, is capable of capturing 8 megapixel photos.

The Nokia XR20 is a 5G rugged phone that gets 3 years of new Android systems and 4 years of security updates. He is currently running Android 11. Among the hardware features, a pair of stereo speakers with a volume of up to 96 decibels is also worth mentioning, which has also been supplemented with OZO playback technology. A fingerprint reader is located on the side frame, and we also get a customizable physical button to which any action or application can be associated.

Under the cover of the Nokia XR20 is a battery with a capacity of 4630 mAh, which can provide up to two days of operation according to the manufacturer's specifications. The battery supports 18-watt wired as well as 15-watt wireless charging.
