HMD Global has announced its latest Nokia X-rated phone designed specifically for the US market. The new phone is called the Nokia X100 and will only be available for T-Mobile. The HMD Global Nokia X100 has the right technical features, 5G connectivity and a very attractive price of $ 252.
The design of the Nokia X100 is conservative and classic. HMD Global's new phone has a plastic back, a matte finish and a small bulge from which the camera module protrudes. In the middle is the Nokia logo, which makes the phone recognizable by rivals of other brands. The Nokia X100 uses a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It is located on the right side of the phone, under the power button below the volume controls. There is a dedicated Google Assistant button on the left side of Nokia. Like the back cover, the side of the phone has a plastic and matte finish.

The only color in the Nokia X100 is Midnight Blue. This color looks elegant and classy on the phone, but a second lighter color should have been appreciated as well. Nevertheless, it overturns the monochrome version of the Nokia X100 and gives it a modern look.
The Nokia X100 measures 171.4 x 79.7 x 9.1 mm. The phone weighs 217g. It has a fairly large screen that is not surrounded by the thinnest fronts. The perforated self-contained camera in the middle and the Nokia logo below the display are two key elements on the front of the X100. This further enhances the conservative look of the X100, as current Nokia-branded phones look similarly sleek and classic.
The surround sound of the Nokia X100 is provided by OZO Audio. This should guarantee a pleasant audio experience, especially during videos or games. The bottom of the X100 has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a MicroSD card slot, which is a pleasant surprise. As most people know, almost every flagship phone today doesn’t have these features, but when it comes to wallet-friendly phones, it’s a different story.
HMD Global has placed a 6.67-inch FHD + LCD display in the Nokia X100. Even though it is a 60 Hz display, it should still be a nice panel, especially in terms of the price of the device. As mentioned earlier, there is a punching selfie camera in the middle. This is a 16 MP shooter that provides decent selfies. There is a large four-camera module on the back of the phone. The main camera is a 48 MP sensor. The other shooting devices are a 5 MP ultra-wide camera, a 2 MP depth sensor and a 2 MP macro camera. These lenses are ZEISS Optics certified.
The Nokia X100 is powered by a Snapdragon 480 processor paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. The phone has a 5G connection which is convenient. These are very nice specifications in terms of the price of the phone. The amount of RAM is definitely appreciable as at this price most phones are only 4GB. From a software standpoint, the Nokia X100 runs Android 11 out of the box, but the phone will get Android 12 in the future. Even if not, HMD Global promises a two-year security update. As for the battery, it is a 4470 mAh. HMD Global promises two full days of battery life, which is plenty for everyone. This phone has a charging capacity of up to 18 W. The filling brick is included in the box.
