Nokia T20 tablet is BIS certified in India
05. 10. 2021 Tuesday / By: Robert Denes / Leakage / Exact time: BST / Print this pageThe Nokia T20 is set to officially announce tomorrow, but the latest information suggests that the tablet could be launched in India in the near future as it is approved by the Indian Bureau of Standards (BIS).
Nokia devices with model numbers TA-1392 and TA-1397 have been approved by the BIS Authority of India. These two model numbers were observed at the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) in July. They are spotted on retailer lists from the UK and UAE. The two models mentioned above and another TA-1394 version were also certified by the Chinese Certification Certificate (CQC) in September.
BIS lists generally do not reveal all information about the specifications of certified devices. However, the BIS certification is a good indication that the Nokia T20 tablet could launch in India in the coming days. The Nokia T20 is expected to come in Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + 4G only. Model numbers TA-1392 and TA-1397 belong to two versions of the T20 tablet. Therefore, it appears that both versions of the device are also marketed in India. The Nokia T20 tablet has a 10.36-inch LCD panel, comes with Android 11, Unisoc T610 or T618 or T700 chip kit, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of native storage and 10W of charge. The Wi-Fi only model costs £ 185 or £ 217, while the Wi-Fi + 4G version costs £ 202 or £ 227.
