T oday, on October 6, 2021, HMD Global officially announced its first Android-based tablet, the Nokia T20. The presence of the Nokia T20 also introduces a new series in the Nokia family, the "T" series, which will be dedicated to Nokia tablets in the future.

HMD Global has decided to build this Android-based tablet based on data from 2020, where the use of tablets has increased for the first time since 2014. The main factor in this growth was the Covid-19 epidemic, which required many people to work from home and go to school and therefore needed a larger screen than a mobile phone to support their home activities.

HMD Global gives power to this Nokia T20 with an eight-core Unisoc T610 processor, a large 8200 mAh battery, as well as optional RAM and 3/32 GB and 4/64 GB internal memory. The 8200 mAh battery can stream video for 10 hours, 15 hours when used to explore the virtual world, and 7 hours for video calls. This test was performed by HMD Global in actual condition. This means that the Nokia T20 is capable of supporting work and online or distance learning devices.

The look on the front is fairly simple, but it features a solid and hard grip. There is only the Nokia logo on the back and 1 rear camera with flash. HMD Global also has a new feature for children, namely Google Kids Space in the Nokia T20, which is useful for supporting children’s creativity and has a number of recommendations for children’s age-appropriate applications, digital books and videos.

In addition to announcing the Nokia T20 tablet to protect the body, HMD Global has also announced 2 casing accessories for the Nokia T20 called the "Rugged Case" with a flip cover stand.
