Nokia Mobile shipped 12.8 million phones in the second quarter of 2021

T ake a look again at the latest Counterpoint Research report, which published its smartphone market research for the second quarter of 2021 and kindly provided us with data on how Nokia Mobile performed in the second quarter of 2021.

In the second quarter of 2021, Nokia Finnish telecommunications company remains the second largest brand in terms of mobile phone market share, with Nokia Mobile gaining 18% market share. The number of mobile phones shipped decreased by 8% compared to the previous quarter, which means that about 10.1 million units were shipped.

In terms of smartphones, Nokia Mobile improved 36% in shipments compared to the first quarter of 2021, driven by the new Nokia 1.4, G and C series devices. This means that approximately 2.7 million Nokia smartphones have been shipped from previous periods, which is enough to gain 0.8% of the total smartphone market share.

This is a 0.5% increase from the previous quarter, and Nokia Mobile is the 18th largest smartphone maker, a place improvement over the first quarter of 2021. In the second quarter of 2021, the global smartphone market grew 19% year-over-year, with 329 million handsets shipped.
