N okia Mobile has again released an update to the Nokia Mobile Security and OS update tracking page, which was updated exactly on October 13, 2022. The page update contains details about the availability of a maintenance update or a security or firmware (MR) update for Nokia smartphone users.
According to the latest information on the site, the September 2022 security update is now available for all newer and older G-series and X-series smartphones. Even older smartphones like Nokia 1.4, Nokia 2.4 and Nokia 3.4, Nokia 5.4, Nokia 8.3 5G have received the September security update.
Only the Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 are on the August security update. The August security update has also been released for the Nokia T20 tablet. Nokia T10 has already received the September security update. However, other Nokia smartphones have older security patches and many still have the March/February/January 2022 security updates.

Now, however, Nokia Mobile has improved the site's data for each Nokia smartphone. Added new columns "Security Patch Cadence" and "No Guaranteed Security Patch After Update".
The cadence shows whether the smartphone receives monthly or quarterly security updates. No guaranteed security patch update column mentions when the smartphone's 3-year promised security update period ends.
If the security update is not yet available for your Nokia smartphone, check your smartphone's build number and confirm with the information on this page. If a specific device's build number is listed, only that device will receive the update.
