W hen announcing the "X" series phones, Nokia Mobile, in partnership with Ecologi, set a goal to plant wood in every device it bought. Ecologi would plant 10 trees on every Nokia X10, Nokia G10 or Nokia G20, and every new X20 sold would plant 20 new trees.

The campaign is available in most EU markets, such as the UK, Ireland, Italy, France and Austria, helping to plant 151,624 trees in the world’s forests, reducing 7 tonnes of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

Nokia Mobile has announced on its social network that it is planting more than 133,500 trees with sales of the Nokia X20, which means the company has sold only 6,675 handsets in key EU markets.

This is not a large number compared to their current best offer. According to the Ecologi site, the Nokia devices sold so far have planted 151,624 trees, which means that the other Nokia devices have planted only 18,124 trees. These numbers can also be used to manage Nokia Mobile.
