T oday, Nokia Mobile announced its latest smartphone, which is another new member of the "C" family, the Nokia C02 mid-range smartphone. Now, to complete the collection, they've quietly announced the Nokia C02, adding the phone's information to the Nokia phones website.

The novelty is the continuation of the most affordable C series of Nokia smartphones, which was last released in January with the Nokia C12. There is no further information on the availability and price of the Nokia C02, but it will probably cost less than one hundred euros.

The Nokia C02 is very understated and low-end by today's standards, with features such as a 5.45-inch LCD screen with 18:9 aspect ratio and FWVGA+ resolution of 960×480 pixels, a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and a 2 megapixel front camera.

The system chip is said to be quad-core and clocked at 1.4 gigahertz. The Nokia C02 has 2 gigabytes of RAM and 32 gigabytes of internal storage, which can be expanded to a maximum of 256 gigabytes with a microSD memory card.

The Nokia C02 battery has a capacity of 3000 mAh. The battery can be easily removed and replaced. Charging takes place via a 5-watt Micro-USB connector. In addition, the Nokia C02 has a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Nokia C02 supports 4G LTE mobile network connection as well as Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n / Bluetooth 4.2 connections. The Nokia C02 does not include a fingerprint reader, but facial recognition based on the front-facing camera is available.

The Nokia C02 measures 148.7 x 71.2 x 10 millimeters and weighs 191 grams. The back of the phone is made of PC plastic and has a nanotextured coating. In terms of durability, the phone is rated IP52. You can choose from two colors: practically black Charcoal and dark cyan Dark Dyan.

As an operating system, the Nokia C02 includes the old Android 12, a light version of the Go edition. No OS version updates are promised for the phone at all, but there will be quarterly security updates for two years.

The Go edition version of the Android operating system is designed to run with minimal hardware resources, such as the performance of the system chip and the amount of RAM and storage memory. However, the Go edition also includes a camera app that offers things like portrait mode, timelapse photography, and a beautification feature.
