HMD Global announces two new affordable smartphones, the Nokia C210 and the Nokia G310 5G, which will be available in the United States through the carrier T-Mobile and its subsidiary Metro by T-Mobile.
HMD Global boasts that both new products offer the elegant Scandinavian design typical of Nokia phones, as well as long battery life.
The Nokia G310 5G is better equipped than the new ones and is a US version of the Nokia G42 5G that was announced internationally at the end of June. The easy repairability of the Nokia G310 5G is familiar from the Nokia G42 5G, which is now being introduced as a novelty on the American market. The Nokia G310 5G features a 6.56-inch LCD screen with 1600×720 pixels, 1612×720 pixels HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate, side-mounted fingerprint reader, 50-megapixel rear camera with f. /1.8 aperture, 2 megapixel macro camera and depth cameras, 8 megapixel front camera and 5000mAh battery with 20W fast charging support.
The system chip is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+, aimed at affordable 5G smartphones, paired with 4 gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of storage. The storage space can be expanded up to 1 terabyte with a microSD memory card.

The Nokia G310 5G, which will go on sale in the US on August 24, is said to start at $186 (GBP 146, EUR 170 and INR 15482).
The features of the Nokia C210 are also modest compared to the price. It includes a 6.3-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1560 × 720 pixels, a 13-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and a 3,000 mAh battery with 10-watt charging. The Nokia C210 is a 4G smartphone with the old Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 system chip. It has 3 gigabytes of RAM and 32 gigabytes of internal storage. There is also a microSD memory card slot that supports cards up to 512 gigabytes.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint reader and USB-C and 3.5mm connections. In its category, the Nokia C210 has invested in a metal frame for good durability. The Nokia C210 and the Nokia G310 5G both arrive on the market with Android 13 operating system version. Both include Nokia OZO Audio algorithms for Nokia audio recording and playback to clarify sound quality.
Another novelty, the Nokia C210 is significantly more affordable - it starts at $109 (GBP 85, EUR 99 and INR 9073) and will be available from September 14.
