HMD Global has already made available the Nokia G21 smartphone with its recently unveiled new camera design to Kenya. It is the successor to the G20, which was also available locally in Kenya.
The display of the Nokia G21 is 6.5 inches with an IPS LCD capacitive touch screen that provides a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The internal storage is 64 GB and 128 GB, which supports 3 GB and 4 GB RAM.
The Unisoc T606 is powered by an eight-core processor, while the GPU is Mali-G57 MP1. It has a triple camera on the back of the smartphone, consisting of 50 MP (wide) + 2 MP (macro) + 2 MP (depth) and an 8 MP (wide) camera on the front.
The Nokia G50 works with a non-removable Li-Po 5050 mAh battery + 18W fast battery charging + USB Power Delivery 3.0. Sensors include fingerprint (side-mounted), accelerometer and proximity meter.
The device is available in Nordic Blue and Dusk. It includes features like GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, FM radio, RDS, recording, Bluetooth 5.0 and USB Type-C 2.0, USB On-The-Go, and runs on Android 11 operating system.
The Nokia G21 will be available in Nordic Blue (navy) and Dusk (dark taupe), 4/64 GB and 4/128 GB in Safaricom stores and dealerships, with MKOPA for asset financing, and Open Channel, which 999 KES (GBP 132, EUR 157 and USD 173) for version 4/64 and Kes 21,999 KES (GBP 145, EUR 172 and USD 191) for version 4/128.
