N okia presented several of its products at the IFA 2022 event, including the Nokia X30 5G, G60 5G, C31 smartphones and the T21 tablet. Both the Nokia C31 and T21 Slate come with a 3.5mm audio jack, but the good old audio jack was missing from the Nokia X30 and C60. To replace this, the company also announced two new wireless audio devices - Nokia's Clarity Earbuds 2 Pro.
The Nokia Clarity Earbuds 2 Pro are TWS headphones that feature hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, and Fast Pair. The buds are equipped with 13mm neodymium drivers. The case is made from 100% post-consumer recycled materials and the packaging is also made from recycled materials.
Each of the pair can handle up to 7 hours of playtime with ANC on. Playback time can be extended to 9 hours when ANC is turned off. But with the charging case, the total playback time is 28 hours with ANC on and 36 hours with ANC off. The charging case contains a 500mAh battery, which takes about 2 hours to fully charge the buds' 60mAh battery via USB-C port.
The Nokia Portable Wireless Speaker 2 supports Bluetooth 5.1 and can be connected to two devices simultaneously for stereo playback. It's a tough little speaker with an IPX7 rating, and it's also environmentally friendly: the casing is made entirely from post-consumer waste and the mesh is made entirely from recycled aluminum.
The speaker features a single 5W (45mm) driver and a 1200mAh battery that provides 22 hours of continuous listening. USB-C is used for charging. The speaker measures 90 x 90 x 74 mm and weighs 225 g.
Later this month, Nokia Clarity Earbuds 2 Pro and Portable Wireless Speaker 2 will be available in select markets. The buds will retail for €100 (GBP 86, USD 115 and INR 9,178), while the speaker will retail for €55 (GBP 47, USD 54 and INR 4,365). Via Link
