With the launch of the Nokia C31 smartphone, which was previously presented by Nokia Mobile at the IFA 2022 event in Berlin, the device carried the usual Android Build 12 operating system, but now, according to the latest information shared by Hikari Calyx on his Twitter blog, it is already on the Chinese markets with the latest Freeme Operating System installed. It has been a year since the Nokia C31 was first launched, but in a current discovery, users have noticed that the recently sold Nokia C31s have a different kind of operating system.
The phone originally came with Android 12, but not everywhere. According to a Chinese customer, Freeme OS, a customized Android-based operating system developed by Shanghai Droi, was added to the recently sold Nokia C31 devices, which you can see below. FreeMe OS is designed to save everyone hundreds of dollars just for operating systems. The goal is to provide an economical operating system that is fast, efficient, secure and friendly to use.
Unfortunately, however, there currently appears to be a significant issue with the launcher on phones purchased from JD, where a swipe immediately opens TikTok, even if the user had no intention of using the app. Fortunately, different operating systems can now be installed on Nokia phones, at least on the Chinese versions of the phone, which raises the possibility of changing the operating system on other Nokia devices as well. Nokia C31 phone comes with a 6.75-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 720x1600 pixels (HD+). Nokia C31 is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core processor. It comes with 4GB of RAM. The Nokia C31 runs Android 12 and is powered by a 5050mAh battery.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Nokia C31 on the rear packs a triple camera setup featuring a 13-megapixel primary camera; the 2-megapixel camera, and the 2-megapixel camera. It has a single front camera setup for selfies, featuring a 5-megapixel sensor. Nokia C31 is based on Android 12 and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage. The Nokia C31 measures 169.20 x 77.98 x 8.60mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 200.00 grams. Connectivity options on the Nokia C31 include Wi-Fi and GPS. Sensors on the phone include a fingerprint sensor.
