KIANEWS CES or the International Consumer Electronics Show is the premium event of the technology sector. It will take place between January 9 and 12, 2024 at the usual location, the Las Vegas Convention Center, where HMD Global, or HMD America, will now also be present. This year, the Finnish company that operates Nokia-branded devices rented a booth in Murano 3201A, which is the location of the meeting. Last year, HMD struck a similar deal and unveiled several US-based devices.

HMD Global, the licensee for Nokia-branded phones, recently updated three of its classic feature phones for 2024 - the Nokia 6310, 5310, and 230. These new phones have the classic Nokia design, but there are. some modern features like USB-C charging ports that make charging convenient. However, they still only offer 2G connectivity.
The 5310 focuses on music and is larger in size, with a larger battery (1450 mAh) and a 2.8-inch LCD screen. The phone is powered by Mediatek and Unisoc 6531F chipset and features a dedicated playback button on the right side and large volume buttons on the left side. It has a dual speaker system for audio and a built-in FM radio function.
Meanwhile, the 5310 is taller and wider than the previous Nokia 5310 (2020) model – making room for an expanded battery (also 1,450 mAh, instead of 1,200 mAh).

HMD also added an improved chipset, the Unisoc 6531F, and a larger 2.8-inch LCD. The internal design has not changed with the 8/16 MB memory, SD card slot, two speakers and internal FM radio as the previous model. HMD Global has not yet revealed the prices of these phones.
