On Saturday, May 14, we are inviting a mini-exhibition to the Nokia Campus to showcase the history of the technological advancement of radio, from grandparents ’radios and huge radios to DAB + / internet radios.

You will also be able to view the equipment used to play, record and process the sound used over time, for both professional (used by Radio Timisoara) and more demanding amateurs. These include a Lyrec editing tape recorder, a mini-disc player and a DAT player.

The broadcasts outside the studio started with a telephone line, and now they are made on Digital Radio in Timisoara, you will be able to see equipment in both categories. The age of the Internet, with the pages of radio stations, has brought with it the ability to transmit images and even short videos, the first three of which are cameras used for this purpose, but also other "jewels" and technological curiosities that can already be seen here. event.

The exhibition can be viewed from 6 pm to midnight on the Nokia Campus, Bulevardul Republicii 21, Timișoara 300198, Romania.
