CES or the International Consumer Electronics Show is the premium event of the technology sector. It will take place between January 9 and 12, 2024 at the usual location, the Las Vegas Convention Center, where HMD Global, or HMD America, will now also be present. This year, the Finnish company that operates Nokia-branded devices rented a booth in Murano 3201A, which is the location of the meeting. Last year, HMD struck a similar deal and unveiled several US-based devices.

HMD will soon launch a new 5G-enabled smartphone in India. Called the HMD Arrow, early rumors suggested it would be a rebranded HMD Pulse. Now a new HMD Global device has become visible in the Indian BIS certification, with the code names TA-1633, TA-1634, TA-1636 and TA-1639. This could mean that this is actually the HMD Arrow, a device that HMD is bringing exclusively to the Indian market to announce its brand presence.
Not much is known about the Arrow, but some previous leaks suggest that this phone is more than just a rebrand of the HMD Pulse. The design is expected to be different, with generally more powerful hardware, including a better camera and processor, as well as support for 5G networks and a 108MP camera.
HMD is eyeing the Indian 5G market and offering affordable 5G devices. With this, the brand will soon launch the 5G-enabled Arrow model in the Indian market. Leaks about the Arrow point to similarities with the HMD Pulse, which launched globally last month. However, Indian website The Mobile Indian claims that this is the opposite of what the sources are saying. According to the report, HMD will not introduce a rebranded phone.
"The HMD Arrow will have a completely new design, stronger specifications, a different processor, 5G connectivity and camera specifications," other sources write.
Initially, the HMD Arrow will reportedly have 5G connectivity, unlike the 4G devices of the Pulse series in Europe. According to the report, this is the actual plan of HMD, the price of 5G is getting cheaper in India and customers are doubting to buy 4G phones.is
