N okia Mobile today launched its latest budget smartphone Nokia C12 Pro in India. A week ago, the brand launched the vanilla model, the Nokia C12. The Pro version has an octa-core processor, 2GB of virtual RAM, a streamlined operating system, and improved imaging with night and portrait modes. The new device brings exactly the same specifications as the C12, but with a larger 4000 mAh removable battery.
The Nokia C12 Pro is available today in India across retail stores, leading e-commerce sites and Nokia.com in Light Mint, Charcoal and Dark Cyan colors. The Nokia C12 Pro comes in 2/64GB and 3/64GB memory variants and is priced at INR 6,999 (GBP 69, EUR 78 and USD 84) and INR 7,499 (GBP 74, EUR 84 and USD 90), respectively.
The Nokia C12 Pro has a 6.3-inch HD+ display. It's powered by an unspecified octa-core SoC with up to 3GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage expandable via a microSD card slot.
The Nokia C12 Pro has a single rear camera, an 8-megapixel sensor. The sensor of the front camera is 5 megapixels. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, dual SIM, 3.5mm audio jack and micro USB port.
The device is missing a fingerprint sensor. It has a 4000 mAh removable battery. The smartphone runs Android 12 Go Edition and is said to receive regular security patches for 2 years.
