Juho Sarvikas, veteran of Nokia Mobile, is leaving HMD CPO

Nokia Mobile’s 15-year veteran, HMD CPO Juho Sarvikas, has stepped back. In his tweet published yesterday, Juho Sarvikas announced his resignation. Yes, it’s true the news Juho Sarvikas announced on his social media Twitter account that he had been with Nokia and Nokia Mobile (HMD Global) for 15 years, but is now leaving Nokia.

Juho was responsible for marketing new Nokia phones and Nokia Android smartphones as HMD global CPOs. Juho was responsible for the successful launch of Nokia Lumia smartphones in the United States and the formation of key strategic partnerships with carriers, including Sprint.

He was also appointed Vice President of North America by HMD Global in June 2020. As part of the company’s drive to grow its business in North America, Juho has played a dual role in HMD CPO and Vice President North America. As a HMD Global CPO, Juho has made great product decisions, such as the modern avatars of Nokia’s classics since the Nokia 3310.
