F ollowing the HMD DUB ENC earphones, the HMD Watch P1 smartwatch has also been launched in Malaysia, where it is currently available for pre-order and will be available in full on Shopee from January 15th for just MYR 164 (GBP 30, EUR 34, USD 40 and INR 3633) from its original price of MYR 295 (GBP 54, EUR 62, USD 72 and INR 6535) and is currently available in two colors: Black and Silver.
According to HDM, this device is a "high-performance wrist-based smartwatch" that offers a thoughtful health experience for users. The device has a rectangular shape, with the rotating crown and microphone hole on the right panel, and the speaker on the left. The health sensors and magnetic charging pins are located at the bottom, and there are separate areas at the top and bottom for inserting watch bands.

This device is compatible with both Android (v4.4 and above) and iOS (v9.0 and above) devices that support Bluetooth connectivity at version 4.0 or higher. The Pubu Wear watch app can be downloaded from the Android Play Store and iOS App Store, which may offer additional features and functions to smartwatch users.
Other notable features of the smartwatch include multiple watch faces, Bluetooth calling, messages, camera shutter, music control, step counting/distance/calories/sleep monitoring, heart rate/SpO2 measurement, sports or exercise tracking (walking, running, cycling, jumping, basketball, football and more), artificial intelligence sound, and weather.
Looking at the live images, we get a clearer idea of the smartwatch's design and it seems like the device is solidly built. Various strap colors are also expected, with consumers being able to choose from white, yellow, black, blue/navy, fluorescent green/olive green/military green, and peach.
In addition, the battery housed in the device has a battery capacity of 250 mAh (~ BIS mark visible), and a USB Type-A and Pogo Pin connector charging cable will be available alongside the smartwatch.
