The HMD Vibe 2 Pro 5G features the Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with up to 8 GB of RAM and Android 16. The HMD Vibe 2 Pro 5G is set to launch in India on September 29, 2026. Targeting the budget 5G smartphone segment, the device will be available exclusively via Flipkart. Following the earlier launch of the HMD Vibe 2 5G in India, the brand has confirmed it is adding the Vibe 2 Pro to its lineup. A new promotional teaser reveals the Indian launch date and key specifications for the HMD Vibe 2 Pro 5G. The official HMD India X account announced that the device will launch on September 29, 2026. An accompanying teaser video confirms that the phone will be powered by the Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with 128 GB of internal storage and two RAM options: 6 GB and 8 GB.

The smartphone also focuses on endurance, featuring a 6000mAh battery and support for 33W fast charging. Teaser images showing the bottom edge reveal a flat frame featuring a USB Type-C port, a speaker grille, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. In terms of cameras, the smartphone boasts a 64MP main Sony IMX682 sensor paired with a 2MP macro camera. A 13MP front-facing camera handles selfies.
On the software front, the phone runs Android 16 out of the box. As part of a push toward localization, the HMD Vibe 2 Pro comes with the "Indus by Sarvam AI" system pre-installed, offering on-device generative AI capabilities and support for 22 Indian regional languages. The video reveals that the Vibe 2 Pro 5G will be available in three color variants: mint green, soft purple, and a dual-tone off-white version featuring a textured lower back panel.
