Finnish company HMD Global has launched a new HMD Fuse smartphone aimed specifically at children. According to the company, it is the world's first smartphone that prevents children from filming, broadcasting or viewing nude and sexually explicit content, even while streaming.

It is powered by a Unisoc T8200 chipset, which can be paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone offers a microSD card slot that can expand the storage up to 1TB. The device gets a 50MP main rear camera and an additional lens, the details of which have not been revealed yet. For selfies, the phone has an 8MP camera.
The HMD Vibe 2 5G packs a 6,000mAh battery, but only supports 18W wired charging. It runs Android 16 out of the box and gets 2 years of security patches. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an IP64 rating. Connectivity options include 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type-C.
