I admit....I forgot about this until now! The mobile manufacturer HMD Global, which has now completely discontinued the use of the Nokia brand name, has come up with a sensation dubbed a world first. The HMD Touch 4G is called a hybrid phone, functionally it is essentially a basic push-button mobile phone, but instead of buttons it uses a small touch screen.

It may seem to the older generation that such devices existed a long time ago, and they certainly remember them well. At the end of the two thousandths and the beginning of the two thousandths, there was a transitional period when Android smartphones were still quite expensive.

For this reason, many manufacturers offered such half-smart phones in the entry-level category: they disguised their push-button products as cool smartphones, mainly targeting young people.

The HMD Touch 4G is accordingly a real nostalgia bomb: it has a 3.2-inch and 320×240 pixel touchscreen, its front-facing camera has a resolution of 0.3 MP (or VGA, we are talking about 640×480 pixels), and its rear-facing camera has a resolution of 2 MP.

The phone, which runs software called RTOS Touch, has a Unisoc T127 chip and 64 MB of memory, and its 128 MB of storage can be expanded with a microSD of up to 32 GB. Despite supporting Bluetooth 5.0, its WiFi is only n-standard. It is bizarre to see such specifications in a touchscreen mobile launched at the end of 2025, but the HMD Touch 4G has its own charm.
