L ast week, HMD announced its first own smartphones, which were the HMD Pulse, Pulse+ and Pulse Pro. The phones in question were codenamed "Legend," but now the first information about HMD's three upcoming phones has leaked.

HMD Rocky has been found in the FCC certification which reveals the phone's line drawing and some technical details. On the back of the phone is a box-like camera area with three cameras and, as expected, an LED flash. The phone has three model numbers which are TA-1631, TA-1635 and TA-1637. So the phone will be widely available in different markets. According to the documents, the dimensions of the phone are 163.99 x 75.5 x 8.9 millimeters. The phone has two SIM card slots, 4G connection, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The battery is 5000 mAh.

The same device can also be found in the Geekbench database, as the performance test was already run on the device in January 2024. The phone has a Unisoc system chip with four cores clocked at 1.6GHz and four other cores clocked at 1.6GHz. 1.2 GHz clock. Geekbench reveals that the device has 4 gigabytes of RAM and the old Android 13 operating system.

HMD Tomcat and HMD Nighthawk only appear as mentions on HMD's own pages. Devices are included in the list detailing supported HMD devices that offer an easy self-repair design. The list also includes the company's new Pulse series devices. Among the phones, Tomcat was the only one revealed by Geekbench's performance test. It would definitely be a more powerful device than the Rocky, and also the most powerful device in HMD's range in recent years. HMD may use one of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 or 7 series system chips in the phone. Its performance is close to, for example, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 chip.
