CES or the International Consumer Electronics Show is the premium event of the technology sector. It will take place between January 9 and 12, 2024 at the usual location, the Las Vegas Convention Center, where HMD Global, or HMD America, will now also be present. This year, the Finnish company that operates Nokia-branded devices rented a booth in Murano 3201A, which is the location of the meeting. Last year, HMD struck a similar deal and unveiled several US-based devices.

The HMD Rocky phone has already appeared in the American FCC certification, which of course suggests that the device will be announced soon and will be available for purchase in selected stores. This is currently only available in the United States, so it will not be available in the European, Asian, Australian and African markets yet or at all.
HMD is also bringing a device hidden behind the Rocky project name that was spotted by AndroidCrunch and a 186g, 163.86 x 75.5 1 x 8.9mm device has been certified by the FCC. The device is codenamed TA-1637 ( dual SIM for LATAM region), TA-1631 (dual SIM for AMEA region) and TA-1635 (dual SIM for EU region).
The FCC documents also revealed that this HMD has 3 cameras on the back and a 5000mAh Li-Polymer battery. As for network support, the device supports 2G network GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/1900 MHz, 3G network WCDMA/HSDPA/HSUPA band 2/4/5, 4G network LTE FDD band 2/4/5/7/12/13 /17/66, Bluetooth (BR+EDR+BLE), and only 2.4G WIFI 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n(HT20).
