HMD Global, the company behind Nokia smartphones and tablets, has just revealed its latest budget smartphone, the Nokia C31, in Australia through Optus Pre-Paid.
It's also a milestone for HMD Global, as the company has announced that Nokia modules are now available on all three major mobile phone providers in Australia - Telstra, Optus and Vodafone. It demonstrates the model's commitment to making reliable and affordable phones more accessible to Australians.

For the first time since 2017, Nokia phones will once again be ranged across the three major phone carriers in Australia – an incredible milestone for the business. Aussies will now be able to access our phones more easily, allowing them to love, trust and keep their phone today and for years to come.”
The Nokia C31 has a 6.75-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The internal storage is 32GB, 64GB, 128GB which supports 3GB and 4GB of RAM.

It is powered by Unisoc SC9863A octa-core processor, while the GPU is IMG8322. The smartphone has got a dual camera on the back which consists of 13 MP (wide) + 2 MP (macro) + 2 MP (depth) and a 5 MP camera on the front.
The Nokia C31 is powered by a non-removable Li-Po 5050 mAh battery. Sensors include a rear-mounted fingerprint, accelerometer, and proximity sensor. The device is available in gray and blue.
It includes features like A-GPS, wireless FM radio, Bluetooth 4.2 and micro USB 2.0 and runs on Android 12 operating system. The smartphone is made with a glass front, a plastic frame and a plastic back. The Nokia C31 is available for AUD 229 (GBP 126, EUR 144, USD 153 and INR 12693) via the Optus Pre-Paid website and your local Optus Yes Store.
