CES or the International Consumer Electronics Show is the premium event of the technology sector. It will take place between January 9 and 12, 2024 at the usual location, the Las Vegas Convention Center, where HMD Global, or HMD America, will now also be present. This year, the Finnish company that operates Nokia-branded devices rented a booth in Murano 3201A, which is the location of the meeting. Last year, HMD struck a similar deal and unveiled several US-based devices.

T oday, HMD Global announced three new Nokia phones, many of which are only slightly upgraded from the versions already on the market. Nokia 6310 (2024) and Nokia 5310 (2024) have not been renewed externally, but there have been changes in technology.
The biggest innovation of the Nokia 5310 (2024) model is the screen size, which has now increased from 2.4 inches to 2.8 inches. This made the device a little longer and wider. Another change is the battery, which has increased from 1200 mAh to 1450 mAh. Now charging is also done via the USB-C connector, not via the old micro-USB connector.

The Nokia 230 (2024) updates the version released by Microsoft in 2015. The phone has a familiar design, but it has been slightly updated. It has an aluminum construction, with an elongated camera section at the back. It comes in two colors, black and white.
The phone has a 2.8-inch display panel, 2 megapixel cameras on the front and back, and an LED flash next to both cameras. The battery capacity is 1450 mAh and can be charged via the USB-C connector. In standby mode, there should be enough energy for 27 days.
The Unisoc 6531F takes care of the performance, along with 8 megabytes of RAM and 16 megabytes of storage, which can be expanded up to 32 gigabytes with a memory card. The OS is S30+ and it's still only a 2G device. The HMD includes an FM radio and a mattress. The exact price of the Nokia 230 (2024) phone has not been confirmed.
