The HMD Asha 305 Pro will be available in two colors, and according to reports, it may arrive in other markets in the coming weeks. Perhaps most importantly, this device has also received an IP52 rating, so you can even put it in water (for a short time, for a small wash). In July, HMD Global introduced the Asha 305 in the Philippines, which it positions as a “lite smartphone”, thus promising more apps and smart features compared to classic push-button devices, but at the same time remaining at entry-level hardware and a removable battery.

A removable 2500 mAh battery is responsible for the power supply, which the manufacturer promises up to 32 hours of standby time. It runs on Pulse OS, which is based on AOSP Android, and according to HMD, gives access to more than 100 selected applications. The list also includes lightweight versions such as Facebook Lite, Instagram Lite, TikTok Lite, as well as WhatsApp and YouTube.
