The headline doesn’t sound good, it doesn’t give any encouragement to Nokia Mobile and HMD Global. Well, now let’s do a little study on what kind of phone handsets we can buy in the Asian market. The prices will of course be the same, they will be about the same.
I'm trying to find the same phones for the price. Let's first look for manufacturers. because Nokia 3.4 is said to be one of the cheapest that Nokia can offer to customers today and its price is quite balanced.
Asian manufacturers include Samsung, Huawei, Xiaomi, Realme, Ulefone, Cubot, Umidigi, Hafury, Blackview, Doogee, OnePlus and Oukitel ... etc. phone manufacturers.
Let’s start with the very first and currently dominant manufacturer in the mobile market i.e. Samsung. The current price of Nokia 3.4 in the Philippines is 145 euros (178 USD). What smartphones can we blame in this price segment in Asia on Amazon?

I used to look at the brand, handset manufacturer, when buying a new phone (30 years earlier). Later I looked at the specification, processor and battery capacity, display size, memory. I am currently looking at the price of the device relative to a given segment in addition to the specifications. Unfortunately, if we look at the Nokia 3.4 specification, we can see that it is very, very low compared to the competing devices in the market.
Two things distinguish the Nokia 3.4 smartphone from the listed devices which is the 6.52-inch, 720 x 1600 pixel IPS display with a pixel density of 269 ppi, and the NOKIA logo which names the phone manufacturer. Nokia! The blue Nokia logo, one of the largest telecommunications companies in the world. The company was founded in 1865, ie we can now talk about a 155-year-old company. Which is the competing mobile device manufacturer that is 155 years old?
There are no more! Is that why we take on Nokia? You decide! Unfortunately, there are no more positive arguments at the moment, but more negative ones! Look at the specifications of the devices! Almost all phones have better battery, storage, camera .... etc. has the potential! Let's ask the question! When can we see, finally meet, a really powerful Nokia phone? Let’s face it, the market and customers aren’t waiting for Nokia!
Let's see a list of Nokia phones sold in the Philippines in December 2020:
Nokia 110: 336 pieces
Nokia 105: 517 pieces
Nokia 3.4: 11 pieces
Nokia 2.4: 8 pieces
Nokia C2: 23 pieces
What argument should we make in view of these numbers? All indications are that there is an error in sales, advertising, but there is an error in the seller.... maybe you have something to do with HMD Global's sales problems? Not enough of the Blue Nokia logo?
