I don’t know how official this is but one of the biggest leaks Hikari Calyx has posted a picture on his regular Twitter channel of those with Nokia 3.4 and Nokia 8.3 5G unlocking the phone’s launcher, allowing for some customizations.

Well, I would like to draw everyone's attention now that this feature is only for developers! So only start with someone who knows for sure how to accomplish the task! The Bootloader unlock key is an encrypted file that contains an encrypted string that allows unlocking! also shows that the Bootloader will be available in February 2021 for both Nokia 3.4 and Nokia 8.3 5G smartphones.

Based on Qualcomm and MediaTek chipsets, Nokia phones have a different approach to unlocking the bootloader.

Why do I need to open the boot loader?

You can open up completely new possibilities by opening the boot loader. An unlocked bootloader allows you to modify system information, such as recovery or the operating system.
